Since 2004 Iker Ormazabal has been involved with experimental music in different forms; solo (as IOM or Iker Ormazabal), alongside dance performers (Itto Morita, Soizu, Minako Seki...) improvising with other musicians (with Miguel A. Garcia, Oier Iruretagoiena, Andrew Page, Arturo Blasco...) and in bands (Mnemoniic, Warren Schoenbright, Fft Players, Oilbag).

It is no news that governments, institutions and corporations aren’t managing the pandemic well. While they continue to prioritise wealth before health, millions of people are suffering from an increase in psychological and economic precarization. What’s also worrying is that there has been a shift of responsibilities from governing bodies to citizens, creating further splits between families, friends, coworkers or citizens.

Night Out in Kali Yuga, is a night out in an era of spiritual degeneration. It’s a dystopia that becomes a reality. This album tries to capture the feelings of anger and frustration caused by the current situation
